Starting in July 2011, the university-wide service recognition program will recognize service milestones at two points: twenty years, with a framed certificate and Rice lapel pin, and a gift at retirement, as well as the dedication of a tree on campus for those leaving Rice with at least 20 years of benefits eligible service. In addition, the names of faculty and staff reaching service milestones from 5 to 50 years (in 5 year increments) will be featured monthly on the Rice staff and faculty websites as well as the Human Resources website.
