Rice Community Resource Groups for Staff and Faculty

There are a lot of people that know a lot of things at Rice University. Ever wish you could tap into that knowledge? Well, now you can! Based on feedback from Rice faculty and staff, Human Resources is sponsoring resource groups where employees can gather and share ideas around Elder Care, Caregiver and Child Care issues. The groups are not intended to be a therapy session or support group, but an opportunity for discussion of resources available among those facing similar challenges, issues, and responsibilities.

The sessions will be facilitated by HR, but directed by those who attend. Each group will take on its own style and form to best meets the needs and desires of those who participate. So, if you have an interest in one of these topics (or all!) come to a resource group meeting to share your ideas and help yourself and others in dealing with the challenges of child care or eldercare and care giving.
