Employee Relations serves as a resource for all employees by assisting in resolving issues, such as managing a difficult situation, providing information and support based on Rice policy and practice, and assisting individuals when considering the best course of action for their specific situation.
If you wish to discuss an issue with Employee Relations, confidentiality will be maintained to the fullest extent possible. Some issues may require further investigation, such as harassment issues, unlawful behavior, issues critical to Rice operations, etc. In such cases, information will only be shared with other individuals on a need-to-know basis.
